Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MDO3D ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with mdothree.com and its family of utilities (the "Service"). We built mdothree.com to be privacy-respecting: most tools run entirely in your browser.
1. Information we process
- Tool input. For most tools, the data you enter (colors, text, passwords, files, JSON, etc.) is processed locally in your browser and is not sent to or stored on our servers. Where a tool requires server processing, your input is used only to return the result and is not retained beyond that request.
- Account data. If you create a Pro account, we process your email address and authentication identifiers through our authentication provider (Firebase).
- Billing data. Pro subscriptions are handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy terms.
- Usage data. Where you consent, we may use Google Analytics to see which tools are used and improve the Service (see Cookies and analytics).
2. How we use information
We use information to operate and improve the Service, provide and bill Pro subscriptions, respond to support requests, and keep the Service secure. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Third-party processors
We rely on a small number of service providers to run the Service, including Firebase (authentication), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting) and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
4. Cookies and analytics
mdothree.com and its tools can use Google Analytics 4, a Google service that counts visits and shows which tools are used. Where it is turned on, a banner asks first. Google Analytics loads only after you click Accept; it then sets its cookies (_ga and _ga_*, kept for up to two years) and sends usage data such as the pages you view, your device and browser type and your approximate location to Google. If you click Reject or don't answer, it does not load and no analytics cookie is set. We remember your choice in our own cookie (mdo_consent, 180 days); change it at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. We don't use advertising cookies. A tool where analytics is not turned on shows no banner and loads none of this. Tool input is never sent to Google Analytics.
5. Data retention
Browser-side tool input is not retained by us. Account and billing records are retained for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal and accounting obligations.
6. Your choices
You can use the core tools without an account. If you hold a Pro account, you may cancel your subscription from the billing portal and request deletion of your account data by contacting us.
7. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
